The Daniel & Stephanie Williams Fund for the Arts was established with the Rochelle Area Community Foundation on August 1st, 2018. As an acorn fund, the donor intends to grow the principal balance of the fund over time, creating a permanent Donor Advised Fund from which the Williams will recommend grants to the Community Foundation Board.
“Stephanie and I have always had a passion for art. When visiting and working in other communities, we noticed a vibrant and active art culture, but when thinking about the Rochelle area, we didn’t see many permanent art displays that showcased the many artistic talents that our community has. We couldn’t think of a better way to help foster those artistic endeavors than by creating the Daniel and Stephanie Williams Fund for the Arts. The fund will help future artists bring statues, sculptures, murals and other permanent or semi-permanent art projects to life in our community, hopefully encouraging other artists to create, in perpetuity, and build an art culture for our community that can flourish,” Danny explains. “Charity and philanthropy are something that was instilled in both of us at a very young age by our parents and families. This fund is something we believe can truly impact our community for generations to come and is our gift to a community that has been so gracious to us, our family and our business.”
