GRANT OVERVIEW

The Rochelle Area Community Foundation will accept applications for the upcoming grant cycle during the month of February. Selected grants will be awarded in April.


Any 501(c)(3) not-for-profit agency, organization or governmental entity that is exempt from state and federal tax, and serves the needs of individuals residing in the Rochelle Township High School District is welcome to apply.


The Rochelle Area Community Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) community based charitable organization whose mission is to improve the community through charitable giving. The Foundation provides annual grants in the areas of arts and culture, education, health and wellness, community services, community development and hunger relief.

Youth in philanthropy

MISSION: Youth in Philanthropy is a branch of the Rochelle Area Community Foundation that seeks to improve the lives of Rochelle youth, promote youth involvement in philanthropy, and create a secure future for our community.    

Criteria for YIP Grant:

THE PROJECT SHOULD... 


1. be a nonprofit that serves the RTHS district.   


2. benefit youth 18 years and younger in the RTHS district.  


3. maintain accountability by having a clear set of goals, respecting equal opportunity, and proposing a realistic budget.   


4. seek meaningful and measurable results.
