2024 Grant Recipients

› The  Ron "Stony" Stonebraker Police and Fire Memorial Fund-The Rochelle Police Department and Rochelle Fire Department received $767 to be split between both departments.


›The Livingston Bible Church Scholarship Fund- granted out $4,900 in support of furthering education for our youth.


› The Dual Language Educators Scholarship Fund- granted $1,000 to furthering education in support of the districts Dual Language Education Program through the Elementary School District.


› 4C-Community Coordinated Child Care- Books for the Community-$500 was funded by the Tyler "Smitty" Smith Memorial Fund. 


› The String Program-$741 was funded by the Tyler "Smitty" Smith Memorial Fund. 


›Rochelle Christian Food Pantry- Protein Promotion Program-$15,000 of which $3,215  was from the Jacobs Family Fund and $11,785 was from an anonymous Donor Advised Fund. 


›Flagg-Rochelle Public Library- Homeschooling Extravaganza-$3,190 of which $580 was funded by the Empowering the Community Fund and $2,610 was funded by the RACF Endowment Fund. 


› Chana Education Center- Collaborating Through Hands-On Learning-$3,636.46  of which $1,000 was funded by the Steve Pfeiffer Memorial Endowment Fund and $2,636 was funded by the RACF Endowment Fund. 


›Chana Education Center- Grief Kits-$520 was funded by the  Ed and Ann Rice Giving Fund.


›RTHS Alumni Association-RTHS Alumni Association Scholarships- $5,000 of which $563 was funded by the Tobler Family Fund and $4,437 was funded by an anonymous Donor Advised Fund.

 

› Vince Carney Community Theatre- Presents Us VCCT-$3,500 of which  $2,000 was funded by the HP "Jim" Walker Memorial Endowment Fund and $1,500  was funded by the RACF Endowment Fund. 


›Shining Star Children's Advocacy Center- Healthy Minds and Healthy Bodies-$3,330 of which $380 was funded by the Tom Hall Giving Fund, $1,358 from the Youth in Philanthropy Fund and $1,592 from the RACF Endowment Fund. 


› Rochelle Rescue Mission- Keeping Persons in Rochelle and Surrounding Areas Safe, Warm, and Comforted-$8,350 was funded by an anonymous Donor Advised Fund.


› Foundation for Focus House and Community Programing- All Program Book Read- $4,000 of which $1,590 was funded by the Berg-Burkholder Family Fund, $1,290 from the Inspire Learning Fund and $1,120 from the RACF Endowment Fund.


›Sinnissippi Centers, Inc.- Rochelle Office Improvement Project- $13,028 of which $456 was funded by the Kay and Jim Beardin Community Endowment Fund, $383 from the Disaster Preparedness Fund and $12,189 from the RACF Endowment Fund.



 ›Rochelle Elementary School District #231- Supportive Student Social Emotional Learning Through Adult Professional Development-$4,623 of which $643.22 was funded by the Hintzche-Hinkston Classroom Support Fund and $3,979.78 from the RACF Endowment Fund. 


›Northern Illinois Food Bank- Mobile Markets Program-$7,500 was funded by the Rochelle Hunger Fund.


›Habitat For Humanity of Ogle County-Habitat 2024 Housing Repairs & Mobility Projects-$4,500 was funded by the RACF Endowment Fund. 


›Girl Scouts of Northern IL- Hispanic Engagement in Girl Scout Leadership Excellence-$2,745 of which $880 was funded by the Jeffrey W. Cole Family Memorial and $1,865 by the RACF Endowment Fund


›Rochelle Community Action Network (CAN)- CAN Backpack-$4,398 of which $1,156 was funded by the Community Advancement Fund and $3,242 was funded by the RACF Endowment Fund.  


›Creston-Dement Public Library- Library Book and Media Return-$2,000 was funded by the RACF Endowment Fund.


›Blackhawk Area Council's Boy Scouts of America- Leading the Way to Bright Futures-$2,000 was funded by the RACF Endowment Fund. 


› Flagg Township Museum- Getting Down to Business in Rochelle, Chapters 2 & 3-$3,200 of which $1,133 was funded by the Arts Enrichment Fund and $2,067 was funded by the RACF Endowment Fund.


›Village of Progress- Community Day Services Program, Whiteboard-$3,400 was funded by the RACF Endowment Fund.

› Lincoln Highway Heritage Festival- Kids Zone, Strolling Entertainment and Free Main Stage Entertainment-$1,500 was funded by the RACF Endowment Fund.  


›Liberty Village of Rochelle- Activities Department-$2,500 was funded by the RACF Endowment Fund. 


›Lutheran Social Services of Illinois- Lincoln Manor Affordable Housing-$2,500 was funded by the RACF Endowment Fund.


›HOPE of Ogle County- Painting to Create a Calm and Sustainability Project-$1,677 was funded by the RACF Endowment Fund.


›Hub City Senior Center- Fitness at the Hub-$1,000 was funded by the RACF Endowment Fund.  


›Steward United Methodist Church-After Class Enrichment (ACE)-$1,750 was funded by the RACF Endowment Fund.


›Sauk Valley Voices of Recovery-Rochelle Recovery Center-$2,000 of which $1,820 was funded by the Human Services Fund and $180 from the RACF Endowment Fund. 


›Creston Booster Club- Quiet Our House-$1,500 was funded by the RACF Endowment Fund.
