ENDOWMENT FUND
To honor Steve's life of service, income from this fund will be used to make annual grants to local non-profit organizations as recommended by members of his family.
Steve Pfeiffer was a loving dad and grandpa, life-long farmer and banker serving First National Bank in Rochelle for more than 35 years. Also an active member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Steve served his community through his dedication to the Rochelle Elementary School Board from 1989-2011, and the Board of Directors of the Rochelle Area Community Foundation from 2009 to 2013.
Steve was a generous by nature, though he credited his family upbringing with his sense of service. He was not only giving of his time and talent, but also his treasure. He and wife, Kathy, supported the Foundation with an annual gift, because they recognized the importance of giving back to this community.
To honor Steve’s life, Kathy and their children, Trisha and Laura, established the Steve Pfeiffer Memorial Endowment Fund. In creating this fund, the family is able to recommend grants to organizations that seek funding for programs that match Steve’s interests in supporting the community, annually, forever.
